The City of Cockburn is seeking experienced Sports Officials to ensure the highest standards in their sports program. These officials will be responsible for facilitating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive competition environment for ARC patrons and participants.

About You:

  • Experienced umpires in Netball, Basketball, and Volleyball with relevant accreditation or experience.
  • Able to facilitate a welcoming, safe, and inclusive competition environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflict.
  • Drive to deliver outstanding service and a commitment to community engagement through sport, health, and fitness.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday evenings.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant umpiring accreditation in chosen sport (Netball C Badge, Basketball Level 1, Futsal/Soccer Level 4).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
  • Working With Children's Check.
  • National Police Clearance (within 30 days).
  • Australian Working Rights (within the application).

Payscale Information:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $$38, including 25% casual loading. This rate is comparable to other similar positions in the region and reflects the value we place on our Sports Officials' expertise and dedication.
