We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining various equipment and systems at our Liquid Treatment Plant.

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management and literacy skills, as well as good communication and customer service skills. They will also be required to hold a HR License and be available to work 4AM to 12PM from Monday to Friday.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and systems at the Liquid Treatment Plant;
  • Ensure effective application and adherence of quality, safety, and environmental procedures;
  • Sample and test liquid waste;
  • Liaise with plant team leaders to ensure efficient processing of liquid waste;
  • Maintain accurate documentation associated with day-to-day operations;
  • Ensure supply of consumables and equipment for staff to process liquid waste;
  • Operate range of equipment as directed;
  • Verify material being processed meets specification for external accepting companies or authorities;
  • Exercise utmost care in equipment operation and comply with requirements;
  • Perform basic maintenance of equipment and report faults in writing.

In addition to your skills and experience, we require all applicants to provide a copy of a current licence, proof of entitlement to work in Australia, and undergo a police check and full medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
