The successful applicant will be able to use data to differentiate learning and have a thorough understanding of contemporary approaches to learning and teaching.

They will also have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities, build strong partnerships between families and school, and commit to ongoing professional learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students in a supportive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community
  • Use data effectively to differentiate learning and inform instructional practices
  • Stay up-to-date with contemporary approaches to learning and teaching
  • Pursue ongoing professional learning opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
  • 3 referees available upon request, including current principal as one of these
