Job Opportunity

Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Lead

The Mechanical Commissioning Lead will join our engineering services team.

This position will be based out of a Melbourne office and lead mechanical commissioning teams on projects.

You will play a critical role in getting to know client mission, vision, culture and goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving relationships with clients
  • Managing scope and looking for opportunities to provide additional services
  • Identifying, monitoring and supporting attainment of net fee booked plans
  • Assisting and collaborating within the commissioning sector
  • Serving as a key client manager for selected clients
  • Driving the identification and development of new business opportunities
  • Undertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals and technical submittals
  • Developing commissioning implementation plan, schedules, reports, checklists and test scripts
  • Providing technical advice to clients
  • Working closely with general contractor's team
  • Managing attendance and reporting of factory tests
  • Attending project and internal meetings
  • Recording detailed progress pre-requisites
  • Population and management of data in project commissioning software
  • Providing routine progress reporting and final project close out report
Requirements

Must have tertiary qualifications in Electrical or equivalent.

Green Star AP, LEED AP, CSA or LEED Associate highly advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in commissioning or facility engineering preferably working in Data Centre / Health sectors.

Experience with equipment inspections.

Experience with Factory Witness Test / Factory Acceptance Tests.

Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident status.

Committed to quality, improvement and values.

Preferred Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical - highly advantageous.

Green Star AP, LEED AP, CSA or LEED Associate – highly advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in commissioning or facility engineering, preferably working in Data Centre / Health sectors.
