We are seeking a skilled Aged Care Clinical Lead to join our team at Talent Quarter PTY Ltd. Based in Meningie, this exciting role offers a unique opportunity for growth and professional development.

Role Overview

The primary function of the Clinical Nurse is to provide oversight of the day-to-day clinical needs of residents in our aged care facility. This includes ensuring that high-quality clinical care is delivered in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

  • This role requires strong clinical knowledge and the ability to lead and manage a team of nursing and care staff.
  • You will be responsible for planning and coordinating staff rosters, supervising and mentoring staff, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for effective documentation, ensuring that resident care plans and assessments are current and accurate, and reviewing as per schedule or following significant change.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the aged care space, with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical nurse role. You will also possess full working rights and hold a post-grad certificate in a relevant field.

  • You will work closely with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents.
  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining AN-ACC funding documentation within required time frames.
  • You will contribute to quality initiatives and continuous improvement, including participating in regular quality audits and risk assessments.
  • You will support Nursing and Care staff to achieve optimal resident outcomes and maintain the Board's policies.
