Advanced Control Systems Specialist

This role involves leading full-lifecycle automation/control system projects, from concept and design to commissioning and support.
You will develop robust control systems using various platforms, diagnose and resolve complex issues with a strong commitment to safety and innovation.
Key responsibilities include integrating industrial robots into high-tech environments and producing high-quality documentation and safety protocols in line with Australian and international standards.
Requirements and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in control systems design, programming, and implementation.
- Hands-on expertise in Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-1500, and 1700), safety system design, ELMO motion controllers, and industrial robots.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python/C++ within Linux environments and familiarity with agile tools.
- Understanding of AS4024 and machinery safety standards, as well as professional engineer registration (or eligibility) in Victoria.
