Payroll Coordinator

The Role

We seek an experienced Payroll Coordinator to contribute to our People & Culture team in a Part-Time capacity with flexible working arrangements.

This pivotal position will play a key role in shaping our payroll operations during this implementation project and further into the future, making a meaningful impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversee outsourced payroll until transition is complete.
  • Manage multiple payrolls (fortnightly and monthly), encompassing 250 employees across three businesses and multiple states.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure payroll operations align with company policies, auditing procedures, and legislation.
  • Manage ATO and superannuation payments with full compliance.
  • Handle end-of-month payroll reporting and ad-hoc reporting as required.
Employee Support
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers, ensuring clear and timely resolutions.
  • Manage novated leasing for employees, including setup, calculations, and liaison with leasing companies.
  • Oversee time and attendance requirements for the fortnightly blue-collar workforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Employment Hero system experience advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a multi-site/project/heavy industry organisation highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail with good organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.
