Job Title: Payroll Officer

Overview

A well-organized and detail-driven Payroll Officer is needed to manage the end-to-end processing of payroll for a diverse workforce. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll roles, particularly end-to-end processing, as well as a strong understanding of awards, superannuation, and payroll legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for a diverse workforce
  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation
  • Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and adjustments
  • Support process improvements within payroll and HR functions
  • Assist employees with payroll-related queries

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a payroll role (end-to-end processing preferred)
  • Strong understanding of awards, superannuation, and payroll legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Intermediate Excel and payroll system experience
