Job Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to contribute to system improvements and compliance.


Responsibilities:
  • As a payroll subject matter expert, you'll work with project teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
  • You'll lead user acceptance testing, data migration, and user training for new systems, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • In collaboration with project teams, you'll participate in system design, configuration, and testing to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • You'll analyze workflows and recommend enhancements and automation to boost efficiency.
  • Working closely with stakeholders, you'll embed compliance in new processes and systems, driving business growth.
  • You'll provide payroll expertise to complex projects and process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills.
  • Supporting governance, controls, and reporting framework development, you'll ensure our payroll systems are robust and compliant.
  • With excellent communication skills, you'll collaborate with team members to resolve system or process gaps impacting payroll, driving timely resolution.
  • You'll also be responsible for data validation, reporting, and reconciliation tasks, ensuring ongoing accuracy and precision.

About You
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in payroll, HR, or industrial relations is required.
  • End-to-end payroll processing expertise and recent involvement in system implementation or integration projects are highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of Australian industrial relations, including modern awards, taxation, and superannuation legislation, is essential.
  • Proficiency in SAP and SuccessFactors is a significant advantage.
  • You'll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
