The role of Business Development Manager involves establishing and expanding a new market territory, identifying and approaching mid-to-large businesses looking to reduce energy costs, educating clients on market options, energy efficiency, and tailored strategies, negotiating competitive energy deals with top-tier providers, building long-term relationships, and capitalizing on re-sign and renewal revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in the new territory.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide expert advice on energy solutions.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and secure new business for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive results.
Requirements
  • Proven B2B sales experience in the energy, telco, or professional services industry.
  • Strong outbound sales skills and the ability to build pipeline from scratch.
  • A consultative approach and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.
  • KPI-driven, coachable, and hungry to succeed.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
