Chemical Engineer Research Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled chemical engineer to manage a research project in the School of Chemical Engineering at The University of Queensland.
Job Description- Manage and coordinate tasks, deliverables, and reports for a research project funded by the Australian Research Council Linkage Project.
- Conduct data analysis and produce quality research outputs, publishing in high-quality outlets.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer, including commercialization of intellectual property, and participate in competitive funding applications.
- Completion or near completion of a PhD in chemical engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of urban wastewater processes and fugitive greenhouse gas emissions.
- Skills in modeling and process control of biological wastewater treatment systems.
- Experience with full-scale wastewater treatment plant sampling.
- Ability to produce high-impact research publications and perform critical data analysis.
- Effective communication skills with industry and the scientific community.
- A base salary of approximately $92,939.68 per annum, plus 17% Superannuation (Academic Level A).
- A full-time (100%), fixed-term position for up to 3 years.
