About the Role
The role of Career Advancement Radiographer is to specialise in musculoskeletal imaging, utilising clinical expertise to assist in the training and education of radiographers and Medical Radiation Scientist students in Rheumatology and Orthopaedics.
This includes providing expert clinical advice and guidance on musculoskeletal imaging procedures, developing and implementing protocols for optimal workflow and efficiency within the Radiology department, and training radiographers and Medical Radiation Scientist students on orthopaedic imaging techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement protocols for optimal workflow and efficiency within the Radiology department.
- Train and educate radiographers and Medical Radiation Scientist students on orthopaedic imaging techniques.
- Provide expert clinical advice and guidance on musculoskeletal imaging procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
- Holder of NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Possess extensive knowledge, expertise and experience within the area of specialisation (Orthopaedics) including procedures and associated imaging equipment.
