At the forefront of Victoria's energy transition, you will be instrumental in driving major transmission projects forward.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning is responsible for managing Victoria's natural resources and protecting the environment. VicGrid, a division within the Energy Group, co-ordinates the planning and development of Victoria's Renewable Energy Zones.

Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery, you will oversee the development and delivery of large-scale transmission projects. This includes identifying project options, developing business cases, and assessing proponents' bids.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong background in civil, structural, or electrical engineering, complemented by extensive industry experience in managing complex transmission projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective project management strategies
  • Providing technical leadership and expertise to project teams
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals

As a qualified engineer with a proven track record in transmission project delivery, you will thrive in this dynamic and challenging environment.
