We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major energy distribution company and lead the delivery of complex high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. This role will manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery on scope, time, budget, and safety while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. As a senior leader within the project delivery team, you will provide direction across multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and consultants, ensuring best practice in planning, risk management, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transmission and distribution projects
  • Take ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality
  • Lead project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, regulators, and key partners
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and commercial documentation
  • Manage risks, claims, and variations in alignment with contractual frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all works
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and outcomes
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Proven experience delivering HV transmission/distribution projects within the energy sector
  • Strong understanding of EPC and contracting frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong financial, risk, and commercial management capability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Accreditation such as Chartered Engineer or Project Management Certification desirable
