About the Role

This role is an opportunity to provide tailored person-centered services and activities to customers living with mental illness, enabling them to live the life they choose.

The successful candidate will work alongside customers with varying support needs in a dynamic environment that values relationships, customers, and communities.


Key responsibilities include providing support and assistance to customers, working collaboratively with colleagues, and maintaining confidentiality and diversity awareness.


What You Will Need
  • ">
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or relevant qualifications;">
  • Relevant experience in mental health community support;">
  • NDIS experience;">
  • A proven capacity to deal with challenging issues;">
  • Highly developed innovative and creative thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, compassion, empathy, and professionalism;">
  • Ability to be resourceful, creative, and adaptable within role boundaries;">
  • Understanding of the person-centred approach;">
  • Confidentiality and diversity awareness;">
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently comfortably;">
  • Effective listening skills and ability to share practical information in an appropriate and respectful manner;">
  • A safety first approach for yourself and the client;">
  • Strong administrative skills (Microsoft packages, word processing, email, and internet);">
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence;">
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
