Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our Asia Pacific region. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS strategies, leading incident investigations, and overseeing the safety committee.

This position requires a strong understanding of WHS legislation, global standards, and codes of practice in Australia and other APAC countries. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer a proactive EHS management system
  • Lead the development of tracking, analysis, and assessment of global EHS metrics
  • Provide expert advice on WHS related matters and emerging issues
  • Oversee the region-wide accident and incident investigation process
  • Play an active and integral role in the Global EHS team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with 10+ years EH&S experience
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in understanding and implementing requirements for WHS legislation, global standards, and codes of practice in Australia and at least some of the following APAC countries - New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia
  • Experience in developing and implementing a compliant safety management system
  • Experience in developing and implementing environmental initiatives is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and capabilities
