Job Overview

This permanent ICT Project Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects in a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will oversee critical technology projects that support daily operations and prepare the organization for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans for ICT initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, operations, customer service, vendors) to achieve milestones
  • Monitor risks, issues, and change requests; escalate when necessary
Technical Leadership:
  • Lead configuration and deployment of mobile scanning workflows integrated with Translogix Sapphire
  • Architect and develop the Poscat portal using PHP, MySQL (or similar stack) and RESTful APIs
  • Ensure code quality, security controls, and system performance with internal developers and consultants
Systems Transition & Integration:
  • Develop migration strategies, data-conversion templates, and cut-over plans for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Validate integration points between WMS and billing/transport systems
  • Manage UAT cycles, data reconciliation, and go-live support
Support & Governance:
  • Provide second and third-line support for WMS, portal, and mobile applications
  • Maintain backup, disaster-recovery, and security protocols
  • Create and update SOPs, user guides, and project documentation
Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison for warehouse, customer service, and management teams
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Deliver training sessions and materials for new systems and tools
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in ICT project management, preferably within logistics or warehouse systems
  • Familiarity with FoxPro applications and ideally WMS systems as well as barcode/mobile scanning technology
  • Proven track record of data migration, system integration, and UAT best practices
Desirable Qualifications:
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern web frameworks
  • Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS) or third-party logistics workflows

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
