Job Title: Solutions Architect for Logistics IT Systems

This role is with a global freight and shipping business specializing in logistics services. The company serves various sectors, including Government, Medical, Defence, Oil, Gas and Mining.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and securing the Project Logistics IT systems and networks. This includes resilience, compliance, and efficiency of technology platforms supporting operations, fleet management, training, communications and logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network & Systems Administration: Configure, operate, and support WAN/LAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, DNS, IP addressing, and network architecture.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure availability, security and scalability.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, including application control, patch management, ASR policies, WDAC rollout, and MFA.
  • Administer and monitor solutions for threat remediation, endpoint monitoring, and secure remote support.
  • Manage mobile device enrollment and compliance using Zoho MDM.
  • Support ERP systems, such as CargoWise, and manage LMS training modules for safety, compliance and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to align systems with business needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years in systems engineering and network administration.
  • Strong LAN/WAN and cloud platform knowledge.
  • Experience with cargo management systems is desirable.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in network administration, cybersecurity practices, and system integration across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Communication & collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
