Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

  • We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive our understanding of data and inform policy and program work.">
  • The successful candidate will maintain and develop data systems to support client's data informed diplomacy objectives.">
  • This includes scoping and development of relevant data sources, building data models, and maintaining and extending scripts/tools for ETL, data wrangling, and robust data syncing.">
  • Data analysis and visualisation skills are also required.">
">Responsibilities">
  1. ">
  2. Maintain and develop data systems to support client's data informed diplomacy objectives.">
  3. Scoping and development of relevant data sources, open source and official.">
  4. Building of data models, working with a PowerBI developer.">
  5. Maintenance and extension of scripts/tools for ETL, data wrangling, data cleaning and robust data syncing, utilising Python and other tools.">
  6. Data analysis and visualisation.">
  7. Maintain and develop AI tool(s) to support policy analysis.">

  • Australian citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.">
  • Ability to obtain security clearance is essential.">
  • Candidates must have relevant experience in data science and engineering.">
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python are necessary.">
