Project Manager Role Overview

This position entails overseeing the execution of remediation projects. Such projects involve tasks such as blast and paint, concrete repair, and structural integrity for top-tier mining clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement efficient cost management and project coordination strategies.
  • Maintain effective communication with direct laborers and subcontractors.
  • Regularly report project progress and conduct weekly meetings.
  • Provide expert advice on technical and engineering matters.
  • Nurture strong client relationships to ensure project success.
  • Participate in the tendering process, estimation, and travel to mine sites.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skill Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in an on-site management capacity.
  • Background in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns.
  • Strong budget management and cost control skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor management abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing self-perform crews and enhancing operational efficiency.
