Assistant Coordinator
St Philomena's Outside of School Hours Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator. This exciting leadership opportunity involves designing, delivering and evaluating engaging programs that support children's wellbeing and foster a passionate team.
Key Responsibilities:- Work alongside the Coordinator to develop and implement innovative program ideas
- Support the overall functioning of the service by providing administrative tasks and managing resources
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new staff members
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the National Quality Framework
• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Care / Education or similar industries
• Extensive experience in Early Childhood Care & Education Services with a strong understanding of quality care practices
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework (NQF), My Time, Our Place Framework and industry standards
• Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and practices, as well as child protection/child safe training
• Proficiency in using digital tools, online platforms, and Child Care Management Systems (e.g. Hubworks)
