About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Kinetic Construction Ltd. in our Victoria Branch. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in setting up survey points, using equipment to set elevations, and conducting concrete pours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Work Practices: Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed, and ensure a well-organized workspace.
  • Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including survey instruments and access, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
  • Site Layout: Assist in setting up survey points and conducting site layout to ensure accurate measurements and elevations.
  • Wood Frame Construction: Construct and assemble wood frame structures, including walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Finishing Materials: Install and finish various materials, including drywall, trim, and flooring.
  • Building Science: Apply knowledge of building science principles to ensure a safe and durable structure.
Requirements
  • Red Seal Carpenter or Apprenticeship: Possess a Red Seal certification or equivalent experience in carpentry.
  • Construction Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of construction practices, procedures, and techniques.
