About the Role:

As a Support Worker at RSL LifeCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will be empowered to support clients to stay living in their home and connected to their community, enabling their social connectedness and providing services such as domestic assistance, personal care, and respite care. You will embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to maintain their independence at home
  • Provide services such as domestic assistance, personal care, and respite care
  • Contribute to the assessment and care planning of each client as required
  • Effectively communicate with the team to ensure the best outcomes for each client

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and advocacy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Current valid Australian Driver's License and a licensed, comprehensively insured and road worthy motor vehicle
