Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch grooming services to a diverse range of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, and clipping.
  • Deliver a personalized and memorable experience for each customer and their furry friend.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to coordinate the grooming salon and ensure seamless client interactions.
  • Manage client bookings and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Support the store shop floor team when needed and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist with stock management and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in professional dog grooming.
  • Qualification in grooming is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to create and implement strong safety practices across the salon and store.
  • Good knowledge of specific breed clips and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Physical fitness, as you may be required to lift heavy animals.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage conflicting priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working and customer relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
