Hourly Rate: $45/hr + 15% for afternoon shift

Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2 pm - 10 pm

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met for a medium-sized manufacturing plant.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain various mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve production processes and minimise interruptions.
  • Document maintenance work accurately, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.

**Requirements**

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols with a commitment to a safety-first approach.
  • Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and software.
  • Forklift licence preferred.
