About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Pitcher Partners Australia. As a key member of our Business Advisory and Assurance Division, you will play a crucial role in providing expert financial guidance to our clients.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing periodic management reports, year-end financial statements, and cash flow forecasts. You will also analyze and interpret financial results to communicate effectively with senior reviewers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of special purpose and general-purpose financial statements, including interim and annual reports.
  • Preparation and review of income tax returns for various entity types, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Compliance with business activity statements and income activity statements.
  • Preparation and review of year-end tax planning.
  • Accounting, taxation, and general business advice.
  • Supervision and on-the-job coaching/mentoring of junior team members.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. You will also have completed or be studying towards CA or CPA certification.

You will have experience working as an accountant in a professional services firm, with strong technical accounting and tax knowledge. Excellent communication skills are essential, both internally and externally.
