About this role:
We are seeking a skilled Compositing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Visual Effects department, you will work on high-profile film projects, combining live-action and computer-generated elements to create stunning visual effects.
- Evaluate your approach for assigned shots with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor to ensure optimal results.
- Create high-quality composite shots that maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality of assigned shots and sequences.
- Collaborate as a team member to determine aesthetic solutions and provide feedback to other members of the production through regular dailies attendance.
- Mentor junior artists, assisting them with their shots and providing guidance on compositing techniques.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, Design, or Photography (optional).
- 3 years' relevant experience in feature film production.
- A proven ability to showcase your compositing skills through a strong showreel.
- Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Familiarity with NukePython and/or C++ is a plus.
