Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Support Specialist to join our team. As a Kitchen Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our culinary team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals at the appropriate levels to clean dishes.
  • Clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies.
  • Clean the dishwashing machine.
  • Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted working rights for Australia.
  • I'm Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth).
