Warehouse Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Optimization Specialist to contribute to our future in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.

This includes managing service levels with suppliers, maintaining accurate inventory records through tracking, cycle counts, reconciliations, and master data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cycle Counts & Stocktakes: Plan and execute regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory reconciliations and variance reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Supplier & Customer Relations: Manage service levels and agreements with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Logistics Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies to arrange the collection and delivery of goods to customer and 3PL sites.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the APAC Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align inventory and logistics strategies with business needs.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational corporation with operations in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Proven experience in logistics, distribution, and imports/exports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management systems.
  • Previous experience working within manufacturing and/or FMCG is desirable.
  • Process and results-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
