Senior Mental Health Practitioner for Older Adults

Mental health officers play a vital role in the wellbeing of older adults.
About the Role- Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating therapeutic recreation and leisure programmes that enhance psychological and physical wellbeing.
Therapeutic recreation and leisure programmes are tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of clients, including those with complex care requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with occupational therapists and clinical staff to develop individualised care plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
- Provide direct support to clients, including assistance with daily living skills, therapy programmes and diversional activities.
As a member of our cohesive and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of individually tailored care plans and work closely with clients to achieve their goals.
Requirements:- Previous experience working in mental health or a strong interest in mental wellbeing.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, clear communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and computer literacy.
