As a key member of our golf course maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our golf course, ensuring that it is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of greenkeepers to ensure that the golf course is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement turf management plans to ensure the health and appearance of the golf course.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the golf course to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the golf course superintendent to develop and implement long-term plans for the golf course.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with golf course maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualifications.
  • Current Australian Driver's licence.
  • Experience and knowledge in preparing quality golf course playing surfaces.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Current AQF3 Chemcert certificate (advantageous).
  • Competency in the use and maintenance of specialized golf course equipment.
  • Understanding of best work health and safety practices.
