You know that feeling you get when you stand back and look at something you just finished? Imagine feeling that every day. We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and punctual hands-on qualified Greenkeeper / Golf Course Foreman to work for an award-winning Golf course within minutes of Sydney CBD. This is a full-time permanent position with regular additional rostered weekend overtime work.

So, what duties can you expect to do?

  • General Golf Course greenkeeping duties.
  • Leading a team by example in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Onsite staff training & supervision.
  • Turf maintenance tasks across the whole site.
  • Willingness to work with several team environments.
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders across the site.
  • Reporting and liaising with the Golf Course Solutions - Golf Operations Manager
  • Working closely with the onsite Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Cert III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualifications.
  • Current Australian Driver's licence.
  • Experience and knowledge in preparing quality golf course playing surfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Current AQF3 Chemcert certificate (advantageous).
  • Competency in the use and maintenance of specialised golf course equipment.
  • Understanding best work health and safety practices.
  • Exceptional eye for detail across all facets of golf course management.
