Key responsibilities include:
- Leading data governance and data quality initiatives for Business Banking.
- Developing reporting and insights to drive performance, pricing, and risk decisions.
- Identifying growth opportunities through data analysis and emerging tools like AI.
- Supporting change projects including system upgrades, data migration activities, and new product/channel builds.
- Championing data fluency and delivering training to uplift analytics capability.
- Delivering actionable insights to inform strategy, project design, and decision-making.
Requirements include 6+ years' experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on data, analytics, or business performance. Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related disciplines are essential.
A strong understanding of data architecture and lineage, knowledge of business banking processes, and credit risk data and regulatory reporting are also required. The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders is crucial.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile environments and delivering reporting solutions that drive commercial outcomes. They should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and have advanced proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools.
