About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Valuer to join our Brisbane Valuations & Advisory team. As an Assistant Valuer, you will provide analytical and technical support to our Directors, working on a range of projects, including residential and commercial valuations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate valuations under supervision, supporting the delivery of client transactions.
  • Undertake financial and sensitivity analysis to support business-winning teams.
  • Verify and audit data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Compile and verify market evidence for reports.
  • Prepare and modify computer cashflow models.
  • Provide direct assistance to enable the Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions.
  • Work closely with Sales and Leasing Services teams to maintain technical competency.
  • Attend client functions and seminars to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements

  • Completed or nearing completion of tertiary qualifications in a property-related field.
  • A passion for the property industry and a strong understanding of its complexities.
  • High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints and multitask.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
