As a seasoned Water Infrastructure Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee the construction and upgrade of three major pump stations across Nyngan and Hermidale. The project involves the installation of new river intakes, balance tanks, surge vessels, and mechanical and electrical systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective construction methodologies and identifying areas for improvement. They will also track project finances, review costs versus budget, and highlight margin impacts.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and teams is crucial to resolving technical, commercial, and scheduling issues. Understanding project scope and identifying contractual risks and opportunities are key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of Project Engineering experience in the Construction Industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to use Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
