We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Risk Specialist to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne as a Senior Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading organisations across industries and sectors, assisting them in understanding and optimising their organisational response to the challenges and opportunities of climate change, carbon management, and emission reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative climate risk and opportunity assessments and scenario analysis, with multiple climate risk scenarios across various time horizons.
  • Develop and implement climate-related risk management strategies, including climate hazard modelling and financial quantification of climate risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to integrate climate strategy into sustainability, risk management, and corporate processes.
  • Provide expert advice on climate-related risk and opportunity assessments, including climate hazard assessment and climate transition assessment and associated modelling.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree and/or PhD in Science, Environment, Sustainability, Engineering, or Environmental Economics.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' relevant experience in climate risk management, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and strengthen client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
