Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, electronics, or electromechanics and possess excellent troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

This role involves working with customers across metro and regional areas, installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced dental equipment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and technical support, collaborating with sales teams, and promoting preventive maintenance services.

The successful applicant will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. They will also be willing to travel regularly throughout Sydney Metro and Regional NSW (overnight travel may be required).

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair dental equipment on-site and in-house
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
  • Collaborate with sales teams to promote service offerings
  • Manage service reporting, inventory, and invoicing via our CRM and PDA system
  • Maintain company-supplied tools, vehicle, and equipment to professional standards
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by following OHS procedures and proactively reporting risks
Requirements
  • Certificate or qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanics, or Appliance Repair
  • Electrical Licence (Full or Restricted) – advantageous but not essential
  • Radiation Safety Licence – advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience in a field service, appliance repair, or technical support role
  • Sound troubleshooting and maintenance skills
  • Valid driver's licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding role
  • Ability to qualify for a Restricted Electrical Licence – support provided

  • Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Able to manage competing priorities and see projects through to completion
  • Trade/tool-related hobbies or skills highly regarded
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude
