Job Title: Endocrinology Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Endocrinology Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis for an initial period of 8 months with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work closely with other specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide high-level clinical expertise in endocrinology.

About You
  • You will have a strong commitment to quality in healthcare, including leading initiatives related to quality improvement, research, risk management, and strategic service delivery planning.
  • Extensive experience in endocrinology is essential, along with knowledge and skills to deliver specialty care in a clinical setting.
  • You will contribute to building relationships within medical specialties, between departments, and services to ensure continuum of care.
  • A commitment to education program development and evaluation is also required.
  • Applied business management skills to plan financial functions of the service are necessary.
  • Effective communication and collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team environment are crucial.
  • Self-development and continuous self-improvement are expected.
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and respect for all patients, carers, and staff are mandatory requirements.
Mandatory Requirements

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent is required, along with eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation.
