Assistant to Senior Agent Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to assist our senior agent in managing the day-to-day operations of our national tours. This role will involve working closely with the team and external clients to book and manage aspects of tours for acts on our roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the senior agent, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with venues, artists, managers, promoters, and ticketing agencies to route tours, put tickets on sale, book supports, and finalize settlements.
  • Maintain and distribute current artist assets, including promotional materials and marketing collateral.
  • Assist with pitching artists for festivals and events, highlighting their unique strengths and selling points.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding tours and events, providing timely and accurate information to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, following established protocols and reporting status updates to supervisors in an efficient manner.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and polite phone manner.
  • High level of computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office and email management systems.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude and fast learner, with a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good knowledge of contemporary music, Australian music venues, and festivals, as well as the music industry in general.
