We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our maintenance operations and protect our assets.

This key role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, develop effective maintenance strategies, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all trade and day-to-day maintenance operations across our portfolio of hotel properties in Cairns FNQ.

This integral role involves managing the maintenance department budget, capital expenditure projects, ensuring preventative maintenance plans are in place, maintaining all regulatory requirements, and leading the emergency response from the property perspective.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in facilities management or a related field
  • Proven expertise in collaboration, asset management, compliance, operations, and training
  • Extensive experience in facilities and project management, including managing budgets and maintaining complex building systems

The successful candidate will have a solid background in:

  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Developing maintenance strategies
  • Producing detailed reports and establishing operational standards
