The Emergency Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care, in collaboration with Deakin University. This opportunity provides ongoing clinical support at the bedside and specialised education, enabling professional growth within a supportive environment.
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will develop a strong clinical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Gain a nationally recognised Postgraduate qualification in critical care in collaboration with Deakin University
- Learn how to think critically, quickly, and calmly in a range of emergency situations
- Gain invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge with the support from our dedicated Education Team
- Ongoing employment upon successful completion of the course
- Current unrestricted registration as RN Division 1 with APHRA
- A minimum of 12 months registered nursing experience in the Emergency Department or equivalent acute setting
- Proven ability to work independently as well as working collaboratively within the team
- Critical thinking ability and demonstration in prioritising patients' care
- Commitment to furthering knowledge and continuing professional development
