Fixed Term Part-Time Maternity Leave Cover Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Werribee Mercy Hospital in a fixed term part-time maternity leave cover role. As a champion of education, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning activities in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit for both staff and learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide educational leadership and guidance to enable the development of knowledge and skill.
- Work in partnership with the Learning Team and the Emergency Department/Short Stay Unit to ensure continuing professional development activities are in line with the delivery of clinical excellence.
- Identify and prioritize the professional development needs of nursing staff and learners.
Requirements:
- APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing.
- Current clinical experience in paediatric nursing.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Recent education experience.
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
