The Role

This Academy of Sport Educator position focusses on Leadership & Management, supporting quality learning for students interested in pursuing a career in sports management, game development, and/or sporting administration roles.

This will involve delivering an accelerated dual diploma of leadership management and diploma of sports (coaching). Creating training programs and evaluating student performance along with providing effective feedback and guidance to leaders of the future.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering educational content and supporting students
  • Developing and delivering training programs
  • Evaluating student performance and providing feedback
  • Participating in research projects and collaborating with sporting organisations

Specialised Fields

We are seeking educators in these specialised fields:

  • AFL
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Rugby League; and
  • with links to the sports industry as a whole

Mandatory Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess the following:

  • Vocational competencies or higher level qualifications in one or more of the following:
  • - SIS50321 - Diploma of Sport
  • - BSB50420 - Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • - BSB50120 - Diploma of Business

and/or equivalent industry qualifications and/or experience.

We have multiple part-time and full-time temporary fixed-term opportunities available until June 2025 across locations within the Brisbane Region.
