Job Title: Venue Manager

The Sporting Globe is a hospitality and sports entertainment brand with a mission to deliver exceptional experiences in Australia's most loved sports bars and grills.

We offer high-quality pub food, a wide range of beers, cocktails, and spirits in a welcoming family atmosphere. Our venues are equipped with state-of-the-art fit-outs, including multiple screens for live sports viewing.

Venue Manager Role:

  • Manage up to 30 staff members, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.
  • Oversee operations across the venue, including running the restaurant, bar, and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
  • Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior leader.
  • Maintain current market knowledge and implement promotional concepts to assist business growth.
  • Take a strategic approach to driving revenue, customer service, and achieving financial targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality management.
  • Proven track record of working in both bar and restaurant environments.
  • Experience in managing financial aspects of a business.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop teams.
  • RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced certificates.
  • First aid certificate preferred but not essential.
  • Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential.
