Lead Sports Coach

Sport Development and Leadership Opportunity:

About the Role:

  • Leverage your expertise to develop and implement comprehensive sport development programs for basic to advanced levels of sport.
  • Collaborate with students, parents and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate school sport activities, including training sessions outside of regular hours as required.
  • Design and implement skill development programs for students seeking to improve their sport skills or participate in interschool competitions.
  • Maintain high standards of equipment and facility usage, ensuring a safe and optimal environment for student athletes.
  • Organise program-related activities, including entry and participation in interschool competitions or sports carnivals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with staff, students, and parents to achieve individual and group objectives.
  • Undertake administrative tasks associated with coaching and program management.

Requirements:

  • A valid Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
  • A current resume, contact details for 2 referees, and a written statement addressing this role description.
