Job Opportunity: Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to play a critical role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger through journal entry review and approvals
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and stock movements across sites
  • Evaluate inventory and budgetary adjustments for appropriateness
  • Review and correct general ledger allocations; assess provision and accrual needs
  • Manage the fixed asset register and run monthly depreciation calculations
  • Conduct on-site verification of stock counts with farm-based teams
  • Develop dashboard reporting and assist with cash flow analysis for Treasury
  • Support business activity statements, tax office returns, and external audits
  • Investigate outstanding purchase orders and system discrepancies
  • Cross-check and release creditors' payments
  • Oversee foreign currency transactions and balances
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (mandatory)
  • CA or CPA qualified, or currently enrolled and progressing toward certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial accounting or similar role
  • Ability to travel to farm sites within WA (day travel)
