Restaurant Manager Job Description

Chatkazz Harris Park is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced Indian restaurant environment, delivering exceptional customer service and managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Plan and organise events, parties, and functions to meet customer demands, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, record financial transactions, and maintain accurate records to optimise inventory turnover and reduce waste.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that meet financial goals and customer preferences, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure dining facilities comply with health regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment, prioritising customer health and well-being.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to improve service quality and staff engagement.
  • Staff Recruitment: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Special Functions: Plan and organise special functions, including menu planning and purchasing, to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Feedback: Confer with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, gathering valuable feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Staff Supervision: Select, train, and supervise waiting staff to ensure efficient service, prioritising customer satisfaction and staff development.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in fine dining restaurant management.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene procedures and RSA.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to respond to customer complaints and adjust to demand.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff and customers.
