Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization as a Quality Assurance Specialist for a major infrastructure project in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality management and experience working with ISO 9001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure work is completed safely, meeting quality standards, customer requirements, and schedule.
  • Ensure all quality inspections and testing follow the quality plan and assist with inspections as per Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), coordinating tests with specialized service providers.
  • Perform site audits and inspections.
  • Develop and implement the site quality plan in line with the contract and organizational policies, fostering a commitment to quality within the site team.
  • Apply strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and customer regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • University education in quality assurance and certification according to quality standards.
  • Qualifications in welding inspection, such as AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP, or similar.
  • Previous experience in a senior or management-level position.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, standards, and best practices; IWE qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience working with quality systems aligned with ISO 9001.
  • Extensive experience in hydro power plant construction projects or the oil and gas sector.
