Defence Project Manager Role

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply project management expertise in a defence project supporting a major capability
  • Develop strategies and analysis to establish future documentation and plans for the capability
  • Maintain effective integration between defence project outcomes and other support processes
  • Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to manage project outcomes
  • Foster working relationships with defence headquarter elements and dependent projects
  • Participate in proposal writing as required
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote a positive HSE culture among team members

Key Responsibilities Include:

Required Skills And Experience:

Related tertiary qualifications or project management experience (or commensurate professional experience)

Experience in a defence or related technical industry

Strong working knowledge of ASDEFCON

Experience in drafting contractual documentation

Demonstrated experience in tender evaluation
