Defence Capability Project Specialists

RPS is a leading provider of defence capability solutions, and we are seeking experienced professionals to support our clients and teams in planning and delivery of major, complex defence capability projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project managers and systems engineers will provide expertise in managing large defence projects and programs, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, enhancing existing partnerships and establishing new ones.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently is critical in achieving project goals.
- Lead the delivery of projects to optimise time, cost, and quality outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Independence and self-motivation are essential qualities for this position.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience/training.
- Project management training or qualification is desirable.
- Able to obtain and maintain a minimum Australian Government Baseline NV1 Security Clearance.
- Prior experience working on defence capability projects is highly regarded.
- Strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
